Smile Again with Confidence: Full-Mouth Rehabilitation for Damaged or Worn Teeth—In As Little As Two Visits!

Before After

Discover the life-changing benefits of full mouth rehabilitation—restored, natural-looking teeth in as little as two visits.

What is a full mouth rehabilitation?

Full mouth rehabilitation is a comprehensive treatment approach used to restore all of your teeth in the upper and lower jaws. It’s ideal for patients with severely worn, broken, or decayed teeth due to grinding, injury, or long-term neglect. Using a combination of procedures like crowns, bridges, single implants, veneers, and sometimes root canals, we rebuild your smile to restore proper function, comfort, and aesthetics. At Richmond Implant & Smile Studio, this transformation can often be completed in as little as two visits—giving you a natural-looking, confident smile that feels like your own.

Teeth preparation & Temporaries

We begin by gently numbing the teeth and surrounding areas to ensure your comfort. Once you’re fully numb, we carefully prepare the teeth and gently retract the gums to clearly expose the margins. Then, we use a high-precision digital scanner to capture accurate images of your teeth.

Our design team immediately gets to work creating your temporary crowns. Within 1–2 hours, you’ll receive a full set of beautiful temporaries to try in. This is your opportunity to preview your new smile—if there’s anything you’d like adjusted, we’ll make those changes before crafting your final restorations.

Final Delivery

We gently numb the area again to ensure you’re completely comfortable during the cementation process. Once you’re ready, we carefully adjust and deliver your final restorations. After making sure everything fits perfectly, we remove all excess cement and confirm that your bite feels natural. You’ll be able to eat and floss normally the very same day your new smile is delivered.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Richmond Implant & Smile Studio, treatment time can vary based on your specific case, but most full mouth rehabilitation procedures are completed in just two visits, typically spaced one week apart.

  • First Visit (4–6 hours): This is when we prepare the teeth, scan your mouth, and design your temporary crowns. For full upper and lower arches, we usually reserve the full day—but most of the clinical work is completed within 3–4 hours.

  • Same-Day Temporaries: Thanks to our in-house digital workflow, your temporary crowns are designed and delivered the same day, giving you an immediate preview of your new smile. These temporaries serve as a prototype for your final restorations.

  • Second Visit: One week later, we deliver and cement your final crowns, ensuring fit, function, and esthetics meet your expectations.

If gum lifting (gingivectomy or crown lengthening) is needed for esthetic or functional reasons, we typically perform that procedure about 6 weeks before your crown preparation appointment.

It may involve crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, or digital smile design—tailored to your specific needs. Each plan is customized to restore both function and aesthetics. Gum lifting surgeries usually carry extra charges and healing time.

Yes! We use extremely high-quality zirconia and ceramic materials for lifelike results. The material we use has a natural gradient translucency. You’ll even get to preview and approve your smile using temporary restorations before your finals are made.

Most patients experience little to no pain during the process. We use local anesthesia and oral sedation if needed to keep you comfortable during every step of the treatment.

Yes, in most cases, we recommend wearing a custom night guard after your full mouth rehabilitation. This protective appliance helps prevent damage to your new restorations from nighttime teeth grinding or clenching (bruxism). It also maintains your bite alignment and protects the longevity of your crowns by minimizing the risk of fractures or premature wear.

An occlusal guard can be added to your treatment plan for an additional $400—a small investment to help preserve your new smile for years to come.
